The new NocPix thermal scopes - How to they shape up?

Hi guys, in this blog review we’re bringing you a first look at the new range of thermal hunting kit from a new brand called NocPix. And specifically a look at their thermal scope range Nopix Ace.
We’ll also be looking at the thermal monoculars in later blogs, these are the Lumi and Vista range.

We got our hands on the NoxPix ACE H50 R thermal scope ahead of release, and took through its paces us here in Scotland, check out the review below:
One of NocPix standout products is the Ace H50 R thermal rifle scope, which sits just below their flagship model the beast that Is the ACE S60R After field testing this scope extensively, I can honestly say its exceptional. Lets have a look at some of our findings.

Notable Features:

Built-in Laser Rangefinder: Unlike many scopes that have bulky external rangefinders, the Ace H50 R integrates the laser rangefinder directly into the front lens. This design is not only sleek but also extremely practical. Less snagging up!
Ballistic Calculator: Equipped with a full ballistic calculator, this scope makes long-range shooting much easier. I tested it on a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle out to 550 yards, and once set up it was flawless.. long range foxers take note!

User-Friendly Controls:

The Ace H50 R makes operating the scope simple with user-friendly features:

Dual Zoom Functionality: With both digital and optical zoom, you can quickly dial in your target, whether you’re making precise adjustments or just need a quick focus tweak.
Extended Battery Options: The scope has an internal rechargeable battery (via USB-C) and an external compartment for an 18650 battery, so you won’t have to worry about running out of power on extended hunts.
Ergonomic Buttons: Essential functions like power, rangefinding, and video recording are all accessible through conveniently placed buttons, making this scope easy to use even in the heat of the moment.

Putting the NocPix Ace H50 R Thermal Scope to the Test

All that aside, it’s the real world and real weather conditions where the Ace H50 R thermal scope truly proved its worth.

Whether I was zeroing on distant targets or out foxing at night, the built-in ballistic calculator and laser rangefinder were bang on accurate, every time. Even at long distances, it didnt take long at all to build up the confidence that this will perform in the field when it counts.

Advanced Features and Visual Clarity

Noxpix didn’t hold back when it came to the visual technology in this scope:

Multiple Color Palettes: You can switch between different thermal imaging color options like white hot, black hot, and predator vision, depending on your environment and preference. Personally, I found the green palette the most comfortable for extended use.
Smart Zoom: As you zoom in, the Ace H50 R automatically sharpens the image, reducing pixelation and keeping the visual crisp all the way up to 24x magnification—a rare feature in thermal scopes. Its a very nice feature.

Live Performance

So enough about the specs and targets, how did it do during the hunt?

The scope’s thermal sensor allowed me to clearly distinguish between animals, even at 200 yards. The clarity was so high that I could see fine details, like the tail of a fox, ensuring I could positively identify targets from a distance. This kind of accuracy was unheard of just a few years ago, and it shows how far thermal technology has come. NocPix has made thermal optics a viable, reliable option for hunters.
