Hawke's flagship riflescopes feature a selection of First Focal Plane (FFP) and Second Focal Plane (SFP) optical systems, designed to give shooters ultimate flexibility in the field. The index matched lenses set the Frontier apart from its rivals. Exceptional clarity throughout the field of view, together with crisp image transmission ensure an unsurpassed viewing experience. The optical system with its wide magnification range, provides increased flexibility when transitioning between close and long range shooting.
The 30mm mono-tube chassis, machined from high grade aluminium, comes with two turret styles. Zero Lock 'n' Stop turrets (Patent Pending) are resettable, lockable and feature a state of the art return to zero feature. They are exposed giving ease of access and offer a tactical design. The low-profile, capped turrets provide accurate and precise adjustments, while still retaining a compact and efficient design securely hidden beneath low-profile dust caps.
Second Focal Plane models include the all new Mil Pro reticle which uses true mil spacing at 10× on the 2.5-15×50 model and 20× on the 4-24×50 and 5-30×56 models and is designed with half mil indicators and multiple aim points. The LR Dot reticle has been designed around the ballistic profile of common hunting cartridges. The Tactical Dot features a quick acquisition circle and central aim point. We have also introduced an L4A reticle and Circle Dot reticle, ideal for driven hunt.

ZERO LOCK 'N' STOP EXPOSED TURRETS
Zero Lock 'n' Stop turrets that are push-pull locking and resettable give two full rotations of dialing ability. Available with 1⁄10 MRAD or 1⁄4 MOA click values.
FULLY MULTI-COATED LENSES
Throughout the optical system, all glass surfaces have received 21 layers of advanced coatings for high light transmission in all conditions.
SIDE FOCUS AND ILLUMINATION RHEOSTAT
Precise Side Focus adjustment to infinity ensures accuracy is always maintained. The rheostat operates brightness settings for the red reticle illumination.
LOCKING FAST FOCUS OCULAR
Set it and forget it. Quickly achieve sharp reticle focus and then lock it down to avoid accidentally adjusting the dioptre setting.
ZOOM LEVER
All models are supplied with a removable zoom lever for fast and precise adjustment of your riflescope magnification with minimum effort.

Reticle Mil Pro 20x
LR DOT RETICLE
The LR Dot reticle was developed around a typical centrefire trajectory, like the .308 Winchester round, which is popular around the world for shooting fairly large game. It also suits some of the faster bullets that might be used for hunting foxes and similar quarry.
This design also makes it suitable for European shooters who might prefer a metric set of figures and therefore to zero their rifle in for 100 metres on the centre crosshair and use the lower aim points for 200, 300, 400 and 500 metres. A useful tip: at 16× magnification, the thick posts to the right and left of the centre dot would bracket the body length of a Roe deer at 100yds; a popular sized animal to hunt with this type of reticle.
MIL PRO (20×) RETICLE
Accurate mil spacing on 20× magnification. With half Mil spaced markings extending out to 8 Mil of holdover, the Mil Pro (20×) is a versatile reticle that provides aim points no matter how extreme the distance.
All reticle measurements are Mil spaced and offer 1 Mil, 0.5 Mil and 0.25 Mil brackets for range finding. Every second Mil spacing on the lower section is numbered to ensure quick and easy acquisition of target and ease of reference.
Each cross has a see-through gap, allowing an unobstructed view of the target. The thick outer posts are hollowed to ensure they can be seen at all magnifications, without blocking out too much of the view.
Mil Pro 20× models have additional 1⁄4 Mil aim points on the center section of the reticle to give even greater precision.
When on 20× magnification, the Mil spaced reticle and 1⁄10 MRAD turrets make for easy point of aim adjustment. Every 10 clicks on the turret will measure exactly 1 Mil spacing on the reticle, also known as 1 MRAD.
